Golden Retriever Offers Mom His Toy for Comfort While She’s in the Bath

Every dog has one emotional support toy that they always count on and carry along when in distress or anxious. And it’s not easy for them to share their toy with anyone else. But the same can’t be said for this Golden Retriever, as he gave his toy to his mom while she was in the bath, as per this video. The reel has gained a lot of attention online for the pup’s thoughtful act.

When it comes to sharing their emotional support toys with someone else, dogs might get pouty. However, this pooch named Finn is different. This adorable video on Instagram shows the Golden Retriever offering his toy, a green and white apple core plushie, to his mom while she is in the bath. Why? So that the toy can comfort his mom just as it helps him during his bath time.

The mom shares in the on-screen text, “What do you mean he goes looking for a toy to bring me when I’m in the bath, because toys comforts him when HE’s having a bath.” She’s obviously touched by the pup’s sweet gesture. The proud mom also mentions in the caption, “He brought me his emotional support apple core.” And it seems even netizens cannot get over the thoughtful nature of the Golden pup. 

They immediately shared their reaction in the comment section of the post, with one saying, “This boy cannot get any cuter! If he does I am going to explode!” Another individual voiced for the pup, and mentioned, “Awww . . . ‘Don’t worry Mama, it gonsa be otay. Here ma toy. After baff, we gonsa cuddle and has treats.’” A third confessed, “That is the most beautifulest and sweetest boy I have ever seen.”
